World's Smallest Frog Species Found in Sarawak

The new species is named Microhyla nepenthicola and it is over 12mm or as size of pencil lid. Species of frogs from Microhylid (genus Microhyla) was found by accident in the street park. According to the story of the diversity of researchers from the Institute of Environment and Conservation UNIMAS the croak frogs heard on the street. They eventually found a small frog in a pitcher plant. It is believed to be Microhyla nepenthicola (pitcher plant) as their habitat.
